Jasmine Butler

Jasmine Butler is the Associate Director for Events at CNAS, where she organizes, plans, and executes all Center-wide events as a member of the communications team. Butler is the proud recipient of the 2021 1LT Andrew Bacevich Jr. Award as an emerging leader recognized for her courage, integrity, and commitment to public service.

Butler joined CNAS following her role as an event specialist for the Courtyard by Marriott, where she executed nearly 300 meetings and events per year with both corporate and social clients. During her time at Marriott, she was the lead guest relations expert and raised client satisfaction scores, while also exceeding revenue goals at her property.

Butler earned a BS in communications with a concentration in public relations from Bowie State University, where she interned in the Office of University Relations and competed on the track and field team.
