Jeff Hogan is a managing director and head of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions group in the Corporate & Investment Banking division of Wells Fargo. Over the course of his 35-year career, Jeff has worked as a trusted strategic advisor to help clients solve complex challenges and redefine the industries in which they operate. Jeff has advised on more than $280 billion of transactions for clients including leading technology, media and communications companies as well as companies in other sectors including retail, consumer, disruptive commerce, gaming, energy, and healthcare.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2023, Jeff spent 27 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as the head of Global Technology Mergers & Acquisitions. From mid-2004 through early 2017, Jeff was based in Los Angeles where he oversaw Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in the Western United States. Earlier in his career, Jeff worked at Lehman Brothers, The First Boston Corporation, and The Irving Trust Company.

Jeff is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the Board of Advisors at the Center for a New American Security. Previously, he served on the Board of Regents at Georgetown University.
