Róisín Goggin is an intern for the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). She focuses on China’s emerging technologies industries, artificial intelligence’s (AI) development and diffusion, and AI applications in the healthcare sector both in the United States and abroad.
Prior to joining CNAS, Goggin was a fellow with the Emerging Technologies Initiative where she worked on event coordination and cross-institutional relations building. She is currently working toward her master’s degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, concentrating on technology policy and China studies. In addition, she holds a bachelor of arts from Emerson College.
