
Samantha DeCosta is an intern for the Indo-Pacific Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Prior to joining CNAS, DeCosta interned at the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the U.S. House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party. In these positions, she researched security, human rights, and economic issues stemming from the Indo-Pacific region, in addition to supporting the committees’ operations.
DeCosta recently completed her BA in political science, with a specialization in international relations and a minor in public policy, from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
