Sevi Silvia

Sevasti “Sevi” Silvia is a Joseph S. Nye Jr. intern for the Communications Team at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).

Prior to joining CNAS, Silvia interned in a district office for Senator Ruben Gallego and in the U.S. Department of State’s Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues as a member of the inaugural cohort of the Foreign Affairs Internship Program.

Silvia recently graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona (UA) with a bachelor of arts double major in communication and political science. At UA, she worked as a research fellow and assisted in the creation of a database of official state visits to explore regional soft power dynamics in East Asia and the Middle East.
