Research Areas

Tanisha Agrawal is a Joseph S. Nye, Jr. intern for the Indo-Pacific Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).

She is pursuing a BA at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies political science and cognitive neuroscience. Her academic interests center on the intersection of psychology, computation, and global politics, with a particular focus on Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining CNAS, Agrawal interned with the City Government of Philadelphia and the Library of Congress.

At Penn, she conducts research with Dr. Michael Horowitz and serves as vice president of her class. She also serves as copresident of Pi Lambda Sigma, the university’s premier nonpartisan preprofessional government and policy society.
