Will Quinn is a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Armed Services Committee. His work focuses on defense policy, strategy, and oversight of U.S. Central Command, U.S. Northern Command, and U.S. Southern Command, among other subjects. Prior to joining the Committee in 2015, Mr. Quinn worked in strategic communications for the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a non-profit organization based in New York that specializes in the U.S. federal budget and economic policy. He also contributed research and analysis to two recently published books: Niall Ferguson's "Kissinger: The Idealist, 1923-1968" (2015) and Eliot Cohen's "The Big Stick: The Limits of Soft Power and the Necessity of Military Force" (2017). Mr. Quinn holds an MA in International Relations with a concentration in Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in history from Harvard College.
