Chokepoints - How the Global Economy Became a Weapon of War
The Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at RUSI was delighted to welcome Edward Fishman, adjunct senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security, for a discussion of his new book, ‘Chokepoints: How the Global Economy Became a Weapon of War’. With Russia, China and Iran seeking to upend the international order while the West mounts an unprecedented economic retaliation, and with the new US administration wielding a range of economic tools to advance its foreign policy agenda, the importance of examining how these tools have become weapons of coercion and war has never been more urgent.
