North Korea Reveals Troop Dispatch to Russia amid U.S.-South Korea Policy Talks
North Korea has confirmed for the first time that its troops are operating in Russia, and it is preparing to rewrite its party charter with the possibility of officially naming hostile states. At the same time, Seoul and Washington are ramping up coordination, as South Korea’s national security chief visits Washington for follow-up talks just months into President Trump’s second term. But with key language on North Korea and U.S. strategic assets removed from recent joint statements, questions are rising about shifting strategies and mixed signals.
