North Korean Ship Seizure - Supporting North Korea in the face of human rights violations
The United States has seized the North Korean ship Wise Honest. Duyeon Kim joins VOA Korea to examine the significance of this ship seizure in response to sanctions violations and analyze its impact on negotiations with North Korea. Even amid UN Human Rights Council violations, the South Korean government announced it would push for $8 million in aid to North Korea through UN agencies.
