The Center for a New
American Security (CNAS) seeks a Communications Associate to join its External
Relations (ER) team in its work to promote and disseminate the organization’s
research products, establish and maintain critical partnerships throughout the
national security community, and ensure that the Center’s work has the greatest
possible impact. This person will serve as the CNAS liaison with the press
corps, lead and manage social media and audio/video production, assist with website
design and content management, and coordinate event planning and execution. He
or she will report to the Director of External Relations and work closely with
the leadership team and other CNAS directors, researchers and staff on a
variety of outreach initiatives.
