    The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) seeks a Director of External Relations to communicate and disseminate the organization’s research products, establish and maintain critical partnerships in the security policy and media communities, manage public events, and otherwise ensure that the Center’s work has the greatest possible impact. This person will be responsible for the Center’s print and electronic publications, website design and content, and event planning; and direct CNAS media relations. He or she will report to the CEO and work closely with other CNAS directors, researchers and staff on a variety of strategic initiatives.

    The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) seeks to hire a dynamic Fellow/Senior Fellow focused on security in the Asia-Pacific region.   He or she will contribute to CNAS’ Asia-Pacific Security Program, which focuses on the burgeoning military modernization and growing integration of the region as global power shifts from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The position requires significant policy analysis, extensive writing for publication, project management, and interaction with high level domestic and international military and government officials, business leaders and the media.  Expected start date is winter 2012.

    The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) seeks to hire a Fellow or Senior Fellow to contribute to the Center’s work on national security policy.  He or she will focus on CNAS’s Natural Security Program, which focuses on the intersection of U.S. national security and natural resource issues. This position would require significant policy analysis, extensive writing for publication, and continuous interaction with high level military, government, and business leaders and the media.  Expected start date is during the Fall of 2011.
