Join the Make Room Initiative next Thursday, September 22 from 5:30–6:15 p.m. ET for a conversation about women in the intelligence community (IC) and defense sector. This event follows the initiative's Study Series, a speaker series aimed at educating and helping the Make Room community focus on functional skills development and substantive learning.
This session will feature Andrea Kendall-Taylor, senior fellow and director of the Transatlantic Security Program at CNAS, and Maggie Angel, a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate who works on defense, foreign policy, and veteran's affairs issues.
The conversation will focus on the speakers’ experiences in the IC and defense sector, what role gender plays in those fields, and where these sectors will go in the future.
