Join the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) on Monday, May 19, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET, for a fireside chat on Maintaining America’s AI Edge.
This fireside chat will feature Paul Scharre, executive vice president of the Center for a New American Security, in conversation with Commissioners for the United States–China Economic and Security Review Commission Michael Kuiken and Randall Schriver.
This event will discuss the state of the race for capable artificial intelligence between the United States and China and outline steps the United States can take to stay ahead. The conversation will be based in part on the commission’s 2024 Report to Congress, calling for, among other things, a Manhattan Project–like program to achieve artificial general intelligence.
The session will conclude with a live Q&A session with the audience.
