Lieutenant Commander Adam Miller is a U. S. Coast Guard Judge Advocate. Currently, Adam is a Special Victims’ Counsel where he represents victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in the military justice system.

Adam served onboard three Coast Guard cutters, including commanding Coast Guard Cutter Sea Dragon (WPB 87367) in Kings Bay, GA. During his six years at sea, Adam interdicted over $300 million in illegal narcotics, protected U.S. and Royal Navy ballistic missile submarines, and rescued over 150 lives at sea. He represented the United States and Department of Defense for a Department of State funded program that provided maintenance and logistics support to coast guards in 13 Caribbean partner nations.

Originally from Middletown, Pennsylvania, Adam graduated with high honors from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2009 and cum laude from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University in 2020. He is a member of the Florida Bar.

Adam and his wife, Lieutenant Commander Alexandra Miller, U.S. Coast Guard, reside in the Kingman Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
