
Andrew Spafford
Former Program Administrator, Energy, Economics & Security Program
Andrew Spafford is a former program administrator for the Energy, Economics, and Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Spafford is a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where he received a master of arts in international relations. During his time at SAIS, Spafford worked as a research assistant for two of his professors, researching defense-focused topics such as the ongoing war in Ukraine and the U.S. military's recruiting crisis. Spafford holds a BA in classical studies with a minor in political science from Duke University and previously interned for Senator Sherrod Brown.
