Major Dan O’Sullivan is an active-duty developmental engineer and acquisition program manager in the United States Space Force. Currently, Dan is serving as a space systems budget planner and programmer in the Office of the Chief of Space Operations at the Pentagon.

Prior to his current assignment, Dan served as a program manager and deputy branch chief within Space Systems Command’s Advanced Communications Acquisition Delta in Los Angeles, California. Dan’s career includes operations assignments ensuring on-orbit sustainment of military missile-warning satellites as well as advanced terrestrial data-processing systems for the U.S. Intelligence Community. Additionally, Dan had the high honor of serving as the aide to the late Mr. Terry S. Duncan, who served as the Director of the Communications Systems Directorate and the Chief Information Officer at the National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly, Virginia.

Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, with a concentration in Astronautical Engineering, from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also holds a Master of Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.
