Erringer Helbling is the founder of Demati, an advisory and community-building ecosystem focused on strengthening leadership, institutional collaboration, and human resilience across public and private sectors. Her work centers on bridging communities, technologies, and institutions to address complex global security and societal challenges.

Helbling’s career has spanned military service, commercial innovation, and national security policy engagement. She began as a commissioned engineer officer in the U.S. Army, serving in operational and technical roles including assignments supporting geospatial intelligence and national-level decision makers. She later held engineering and leadership roles in the commercial space sector, contributing to launch vehicle development at SpaceX and advancing RF-analytics capabilities at HawkEye 360.

She has served as a senior advisor and leader across organizations operating at the intersection of government and emerging technology, including the U.S. Space Force, the Defense Innovation Unit, the Intelligence Community, and executive teams navigating global security environments. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening collaboration between public institutions and private innovation ecosystems.

Helbling previously served as the President Altana Technologies’ US Government subsidiary and has advised organizations across government, industry, and research communities. She holds degrees in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy and Johns Hopkins University.

Beyond her advisory work, she is Co-Founder of the Command Purpose Foundation, a nonprofit supporting veteran women navigating identity and leadership transitions beyond service, helping strengthen the long-term resilience of national security communities.

Helbling’s leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that durable security and institutional effectiveness ultimately depend on human connection, trust, and the strength of the communities that sustain them.
