Ethan Steel
Development Associate
Ethan Steel is the Development Associate at CNAS. Steel works closely with each subdivision of the development team in order to help provide operations and administrative support. In conjunction, he also manages donor communication and assists in events planning and execution.
Prior to joining CNAS, Steel interned with the development team at J Street, an organization centered around finding solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where he contributed to Salesforce administration, prospecting research, and end-of-year fundraising. Additionally, he worked at the Webb Law Firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for three years within their administration department and held several internships aboard political campaigns leading up to the 2020 election cycle.
Steel graduated magma cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in May 2022 with a BA in political science and history and a minor in economics before moving to the Washington, D.C. area.
