Eugene Mok is an attorney-advisor with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of the General Counsel, focusing on various national security matters. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Eugene served as an active dutySurface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy onboard multiple vessels and in shore assignments, including the Defense Intelligence Agency. Eugene deployed to the Persian Gulf and various locations throughout the South Pacific Ocean. Eugene continues to servein the U.S. Navy’s Selected Reserves as a Lieutenant Commander, Judge Advocate General’s Corps. His personal decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, U.S.Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, and other campaign and unit awards.

Eugene grew up in Old Tappan, New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Russian Studies concentration from Villanova University in 2010. He graduated cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law and is a member of the New York Bar.125%
