Jessica Brandt is the Head of Research and Policy at the Alliance for Securing Democracy and a Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Her research interests include international security, multilateral institutions, and the geopolitical consequences of state fragility. Jessica previously served as special adviser to the president in the Executive Office and as an associate fellow in Foreign Policy at Brookings, an International and Global Affairs fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, and as the director of Foreign Relations for the Geneva Accord in Tel Aviv. She earned a BA in international relations with a concentration in conflict and security studies from Johns Hopkins University and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the American Ditchley Foundation, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a David Rockefeller Fellow of the Trilateral Commission.
