Joseph Quintilian

Joseph Quintilian is a financial markets executive with over 20 years of experience spanning traditional trading, venture capital, and emerging digital asset markets. Mr. Quintilian has been at the forefront of digital asset market development and regulatory engagement. In 2016, he co-founded the EtherIndex Ether Trust in partnership with Greg Diprisco and Coinbase—the first Ethereum ETF filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He co-founded Distributed Capital Partners (with Greg Diprisco), an early-stage venture fund with investments in foundational blockchain projects including Maker, Uniswap, Consensys, Chronicle Labs, Ostium and M0.

Previously, Mr. Quintilian led the principal trading desk at the Maker Ecosystem Growth Foundation/ LPL where he turned $20 million into $120 million plus in assets. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Axiom Markets LLC (2005), a proprietary trading desk and liquidity provider in futures and commodities markets.

Mr. Quintilian holds a B.A. in Finance from Bucknell University. He is active with the Archdiocese of New York and serves on the board of the Open Discourse Coalition in association with Bucknell
