MAJ Megan Biles is a special operations pilot with operational experience in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. She is currently assigned to the Pentagon as a Strategist for the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. She has served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Vice Commander, Special Operations Command, and as the Special Operations Liaison to the Embassy in Burkina Faso. She also co-chaired the Air Force’s Barrier Analysis Working Group, contributing to military policy changes supporting readiness, recruitment, and retention. She is the Director of Fellows for the Irregular Warfare Initiative, supporting scholarly and practitioner study and debate on irregular warfare and national security topics.

Megan holds a BS in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy and master's degrees in Policy Management from Georgetown, Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern, and Philosophy in Military Strategy from the Air Force's School of Advanced Air and Space Strategy. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy.
