Jeff Hogan and David Scully Join CNAS Board of Advisors

Washington, October 19, 2023 — The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) welcomes Jeff Hogan and David Scully to its Board of Advisors.

“I am pleased to welcome Jeff and David to the CNAS Board of Advisors,” said Richard Fontaine, Chief Executive Officer of CNAS. “Their wealth of experience in the worlds of finance and investment will enrich our strategic discussions and drive the CNAS mission forward.”

Jeff Hogan is a managing director and head of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions group in Corporate & Investment Banking at Wells Fargo. With over 34 years of experience, he has advised on more than $280 billion worth of transactions, working with technology, media, communications, retail, consumer, disruptive commerce, gaming, energy, and healthcare companies. Before joining Wells Fargo in 2023, he served as the head of Global Technology Mergers & Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley.

David Scully is the Vice Chairman at Caledonia Investments, a global investment management firm with offices in Sydney and New York. Before joining Caledonia, David served as a partner and chief marketing officer at Coatue Management, one of the leading global investment firms focused on technology, media, and telecommunications. He has also held positions at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Salomon Brothers Inc., and J.P. Morgan. David served as board chair of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from 2015–2022.
