
Elena LoRusso
Intern, Military, Veterans, and Society Program
Elena LoRusso is a former Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Military, Veterans, & Society Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Prior to joining CNAS, Elena worked with Army Community Service's Employment Readiness Program at Fort Drum, NY as a career coach for soldiers, DoD civilian employees, and their family members. She also completed a year of community service as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2018 and has experience in the retail startup space.
Elena recently graduated with a master's from Cornell University's Industrial and Labor Relations School, where she was a teaching assistant for courses on disability and employment and a board member of the International Graduate Student Association. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy Studies from DePaul University.
