Guy Filippelli is the CEO of Berico Technologies, a firm that specializes in solving “hard-problem” technical challenges for the military, intelligence, and homeland defense sectors. Guy holds a B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, and received his B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University, where he studied as a Marshall Scholar. His Army experience included commanding an intelligence detachment in Vicenza, Italy and leading the intelligence production organization for Combined Joint Task Force-76 in Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He finished his Army career as a special assistant to the Director of the National Security Agency.

In 2008, he was awarded the National Intelligence Medallion, the highest award given to non-government personnel in support of the US intelligence community, for his efforts in Iraq. He is an Associate of the West Point Combating Terrorism Center, working with the center on terrorism analysis and data exploitation issues. He sits on the board of advisors for Luke’s Wings, a charity dedicated to funding travel expenses for wounded warriors.
