Matt Romanowski is an active-duty Army officer who serves as a Taiwan Policy Advisor in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy. He deployed twice to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom and completed operational tours in Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia, and India.
Matt, a Korean-American adoptee, grew up in Wisconsin. He studied Economics and Mandarin Chinese at West Point and earned his Master in Public Affairs from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
