
Noah Greene
Research Assistant, AI Safety and Stability Project
Research Areas
Noah Greene currently serves as the Research Assistant at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) for the center’s cross-program initiative on artificial intelligence safety and stability. In this role, Noah works with four programs, along with the vice president and director of studies to ensure that all lines of effort run smoothly. Namely, his portfolio includes AI research related to military applications in Russia, China, and the U.S.
Prior to joining CNAS Noah worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration program at Northwestern University. He assisted with course instruction, facilitated day-to-day administrative tasks, and supplemented the professor’s role in reviewing student assignments.
Noah earned a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration from Northwestern University specializing in global policy. His research focused on foreign policy decision making, international negotiations, regional spheres of security, European affairs, and international institutions.
Noah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Alabama and minored in public relations. He graduated summa cum laude. During his undergraduate career Noah was involved in multiple on campus organizations, including serving as an undergraduate research assistant and VP of Community Service and High School Outreach for UA PRSSA. He also served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the Education Policy Center, where he facilitated communications and policy-oriented goals to advance the Education Policy Center's mission of raising Alabama’s quality of life through expanding educational access and equity. Noah is also involved in civic engagement through the Blackburn Institute at The University of Alabama and was named a Fellow of the institution in 2020.
