Europe Must Counter Cheap Drones with Cheap Solutions, Ex-NATO Commander Says
NATO must find cheaper ways to counter the growing threat of Russian drone incursions, the former Supreme Allied Commander for Europe, Gen. Philip Breedlove, has said. Speaking to TVP World at the Warsaw Security Forum, he warned that “very expensive defensive missiles” cannot be the answer to much cheaper drones. He urged greater investment in sensor networks to boost Europe’s ability to monitor and protect its airspace.
