Trump hails military after it drops "Mother of All Bombs" on Afghanistan
President Trump hailed the U.S. military after it dropped the "mother of all bombs," America's largest non-nuclear weapon, in Afghanistan on Thursday.
But just like last week's air strikes in Syria, Democrats are expressing outrage that Congress wasn't consulted.
At 7 p.m. local time, the U.S. military dropped the GBU-43, marking the first time the 22,000 pound bomb had ever been used in combat.
